They applied smart sensing technologies—originally for agriculture—to urban traffic, climate, ecology, and pollution monitoring through projects with local partners. The camp integrated physics, biology, economics, psychology, art, and music, equipping students with technical skills, interdisciplinary problem-solving, and a stronger sense of social responsibility.

Grade 1 focused on “Transportation,” with classes divided into land, sea, and air groups. They completed an inquiry cycle of questioning, poster-making, and constructing with recycled materials. Integrating STEAM concepts, they explored the evolution of transport and held an English debate on “global warming,” showcasing scientific literacy and critical thinking. Under the theme “Sharing the Planet,” Grade 2 students designed fashion with waste materials and presented a runway show and group reports, conveying the idea of sharing our common home. G4E delivered excellent presentations, confidently sharing their disaster safety plans with parents and peers. Gloria Gong tied red strings—symbols of good luck and hope—on each student's wrist and offered words of encouragement, urging them to stay calm and confident. During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, teachers accompanied students to exam venues and supported them throughout. All students completed the exams successfully.
