10月26日，八年级全体师生召开以 “把力气用在对的地方” 为主题的期中动员大会。随着课业压力增大，新增物理、化学学科，不少同学备考时感到迷茫。会上，三名学生代表分享高效学习、自主规划、拒绝无效努力的经验；年级组长韩老师带来语数英理化五科复习锦囊；优秀毕业生张锦轩以视频形式分享时间管理与心态调节方法。校领导寄语同学们，期中考试是摸清学情的契机，并非评判。鼓励大家做到错题当日清零，坚持每日有效学习，合理规划周末，踏实备考，以良好状态迎接期中检验。On October 26, Grade 8 held a midterm mobilization meeting themed “Put Your Effort in the Right Place.” With heavier coursework and new physics and chemistry, three student representatives shared tips on efficient learning and self-planning, Grade leader Teacher Han offered review strategies for five subjects, and outstanding graduate Zhang Jinxuan shared time management and mindset advice via video. School leaders encouraged students to clear mistakes daily, study effectively, and prepare steadily for the midterm.

10月29日，艾思坦幼儿园大班同学来到小学部参加体验活动。孩子们在老师带领下走进课堂，感受小学课程与学习氛围；参观校园环境，初步了解小学生活；还在学校用餐，体验集体就餐秩序。随后，大家来到沁园亲手拔萝卜，感受劳动与收获的乐趣。此次活动让幼儿近距离接触小学的学习与生活，缓解入学陌生感，充分体现了一贯制学校在幼小衔接方面的资源优势。On October 29, senior class children from ASTEM Kindergarten visited the Primary School. They experienced classroom lessons, toured the campus, dined at school, and pulled radishes in Qinyuan Garden. The activity helped ease their transition to primary school and highlighted the advantages of a through-train school.

10月30日，一年级举行“走进课堂，共伴成长”家长开放日活动。家长们走进真实课堂，直观了解孩子在校课堂状态、学习习惯养成及校园大课间活动，近距离感受教师课堂教学风貌。活动搭建起家校沟通桥梁，学校认真倾听家长意见建议，进一步凝聚家校教育合力。此次开放日增进了家长对一年级教育教学工作的了解，为家校携手共促学生健康成长奠定了良好基础。On October 30, Grade 1 held the “Into the Classroom, Growing Together” Parents’ Open Day. Parents observed real classrooms, their children’s learning habits and recess activities, and experienced teachers’ teaching firsthand. The activity reflects the school’s school-museum cooperation, helping students broaden their horizons through seeing, listening, and doing. Students competed on behalf of the four houses in a fierce word-spelling contest. The competition was held in two rounds, with a tight schedule and an exciting atmosphere. Contestants stayed focused and composed, while applause and cheers rose one after another, fully demonstrating solid English spelling skills and strong teamwork. The event stimulated students' interest in learning English and building vocabulary, and enhanced the cohesion of each house.

10月28日-10月30日，龚德辉校长代表学校前往北京参加由中国教育国际交流协会主办的“2026中国国际教育年会”，本届年会主题为“开放育新, 合作致远”，并受邀在 IB 官方分论坛专场“全球产业升级背景下的职业教育国际合作新路径”中参与圆桌讨论，从一线办学的角度探讨产教协同与中外贯通。Gloria Gong travelled to Beijing to attend the ‘China Annual Conference Expo for International Education’, organized by the China Association for International Educational Exchange. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Open Education, Deep Connection’, and she has been invited to participate in a round-table discussion at the official IB sub-forum entitled ‘New Pathways for International Cooperation in Vocational Education Amid Global Industrial Transformation’, where I shall explore industry-education collaboration and the integration of local and international education from the perspective of frontline school management.

10月20日，我校小学部数学教研组三位骨干教师继续赴紫荆小学，参与主题为《“支架赋能，思维可见——从“会算平均数”到“懂统计意义”》的两校联合教研活动。老师们共同观摩韩小羽老师执教的《平均数的意义与计算①》一课。本课依托STAR备课模型设计，打破重计算、轻说理的传统模式，聚焦概念意义建构，搭建情境、工具、图形与语言多层学习支架，打通新旧知识、图形与数量的关联，引导学生思辨说理，发展数据意识。课后，两校教师围绕本节课支架的设计与运用、统计素养在课堂中的落实等要点深入交流，分享教学思考，碰撞教学思路，在研讨中互学共进。On October 20, three teachers from our primary math group visited Zijing Primary School for a joint research activity. They observed Ms. Han Xiaoyu’s lesson, “The Meaning and Calculation of the Mean.” Using the STAR model, the lesson built multi-layered scaffolds to help students understand statistical meaning and develop data awareness. Afterwards, teachers from both schools exchanged views on scaffold design and statistical literacy, sharing ideas and learning from each other.

10月19日至23日，高二年级全体学生赴浏河营地开展学农实践活动。本次活动内容丰富多元，同学们走进田间，体验割稻、播种蚕豆、搭建微型园林景观、培育水培植物、草编手作等农事项目，并聆听农业专题知识讲座。同学们亲身参与农事劳作，真切感受农耕的辛劳，进一步树立珍惜粮食的意识。活动坚持理论与实践相结合，邀请专家现场科普讲解，搭配学生沉浸式动手实操，引导同学们近距离认识现代农业，感受农业发展的新面貌。From October 19 to 23, all Grade 11 students took part in an agricultural practice at Liuhe Camp. They experienced rice harvesting, broad bean sowing, miniature landscape building, hydroponic cultivation and straw weaving, and attended agriculture lectures. Through hands-on work, they learned the hardship of farming and developed a stronger awareness of cherishing food. Combining theory with practice, the activity helped students better understand modern agriculture.
