2025-11-11Yanshan Jiangxi Teaching Support Field TripOn November 9, 52 high school students and teachers departed for Yanshan, Jiangxi, to begin a week-long teaching support and learning trip under the Shang-Shang Cooperation initiative. This initiative marks the first partnership with Wang'er Town Central Primary School in Yanshan County. Serving as student mentors, SABS participants will deliver engaging courses in music, sports, arts, and science to local students. Through interactive teaching methods, they aim to broaden educational horizons and enrich learning experiences for children in the mountainous region. From 2016 through 2025, our commitment remains unwavering—this nine-year partnership continues to thrive. -
2025-11-11Student Debate Competition (MS)On November 7, the Middle School Humanities Department successfully held the final of the second SABS Youth Speak student debate competition. This year's final focused on the timely topic: Is AI an empowering partner or a dependency trap in learning and life? Debaters presented sharp arguments and clear logic, demonstrating excellent comprehensive skills and critical thinking. The event provided a platform for students to express their ideas and reflect on the relationship between technological development and personal growth. -
2025-11-11"Who We Are" Learning CelebrationOn November 6, SABK warmly concluded its Who We Are learning celebration amid laughter and joy. Through self-introductions, performances, and sharing sessions, children demonstrated self-awareness and growth. The event focused on self-discovery, helping children recognize their uniqueness and interests. Parents were moved by their progress, while teachers organized engaging activities to build confidence. The school remains committed to providing a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. -
2025-11-11The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award - Gold Level CyclingFrom November 7 to 9, SABS’s Edinburgh International Gold Award cycling team carried out a three-day, two-night practice ride covering 160 km in the Xishan and Dongshan areas of Suzhou. Despite rainy weather and cold nights, the team remained highly motivated throughout the journey. This experience tested their physical endurance and embodied the award's core principles—pushing personal limits, serving the community, and becoming global citizens. Their perseverance truly reflected the non-competitive spirit of personal growth. Well done to every rider! -
2025-11-11Kindergarten fire drillLast week, SABK conducted a fire drill for all students. When the alarm sounded, children promptly evacuated under teacher guidance, using wet towels to cover their noses and mouths while moving quickly along designated routes to safety zones. A police officer joined the drill to explain fire prevention and escape basics. The event concluded with a fire extinguisher demonstration.This practical exercise effectively raised safety awareness and strengthened campus safety preparedness. -
2025-11-1111th Anniversary Puzzle Unveiled in School CorridorThe 11th-anniversary themed jigsaw puzzle, collaboratively completed by students during the anniversary celebration week, was officially unveiled in the main school corridor. Comprising 512 pieces, the puzzle incorporates the signature colors of the four houses and PAWS-themed elements, reflecting the collective creativity and heartfelt wishes of the student community. This artwork not only beautifies the campus environment but also showcases the unique spirit and cohesion of each house. -
