Mr. Nikolas Bitos is an experienced Science teacher with more than 16 years of teaching and leadership experience. This is his 8th year in Shanghai and his second year with us here at ECNUAS. Also, after proving himself last year, he’ll be assuming duties as the Head of our Science Department. He is an educator who is very focused on his students’ academic performance but also their mental and physical well-being. Even during last year’s Covid-19 Pandemic, with his constant support and mentoring, our students managed to achieve high scores in their IB DP Biology class. He hates “boring” lessons and strongly believes in a more interactive approach in Education. He is the kind of person who always strives to improve himself and the people around him.

Nikolas Bitos 是一位教学经验丰富的科学老师，拥有 16 年教龄并富有领导力。今年是他在上海的第 8 年、在华师双语任教的第2 年。此外，在去年证明自己的能力后，现在他是科学组的另一位学科组长。在教学中，他不止十分注重学生们的学习成绩，也关注他们的身心发展。新冠肺炎蔓延期间，学生们在他的全力支持和指导下，以优异的成绩完成了 IBDP 阶段的生物课程。他认为“枯燥”的课程不可取，坚信教育应该是一个互动的过程，且他一直在努力充实自己，让自己和身边的人更上一层楼。
